Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Abide Learning Co. ("we," "us," "our") and the booking of online tutoring sessions through our website. By creating an account, booking a session, or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

The service

We provide live, one-on-one online tutoring for K–8 students, delivered via Google Meet. Sessions are scheduled by parents or guardians through our booking system. You are responsible for providing a working device, internet connection, and a quiet space for your student.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of the student to create an account and book sessions. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Booking, payment & credits

• Sessions are billed at the prices shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Session packages are sold as a fixed number of credits. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Cancellations & no-shows

• You may reschedule or cancel a booked session up to 24 hours before its start time; the credit will be returned to your account.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours before the session, and no-shows, forfeit the credit.
• If we cancel a session, you will be offered a reschedule or a returned credit.

Refunds

Single sessions and unused package credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase by emailing us. Used credits and completed sessions are non-refundable. Subscription payments already charged are non-refundable, but you can cancel future renewals at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, harass our staff, share account access, record sessions without consent, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Communications & SMS

By creating an account or booking a session, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your bookings. If you opt in to SMS on the booking form, you also agree to receive transactional text messages (confirmations, reminders, schedule changes). Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

Intellectual property

All website content, lesson materials, and curriculum we provide are the property of Abide Learning Co. and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use with your enrolled student only.

Disclaimers

We provide tutoring support but do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or test results. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abide Learning Co.'s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or on this page; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
