Most of the families we work with fall into one of three groups. The teaching is the same; the cadence is what changes.
You're running the whole curriculum and you'd like a steady outside teacher for one or two subjects. We slot in weekly, follow your scope and sequence, and send a quick recap so you stay in charge of the whole picture.
Most common ask
Your child is in a traditional school but the regular classroom can't slow down for one student. We meet in the afternoon, work the actual homework when it helps, and build the underlying skill when that's what's needed.

Something slipped. A move, a long illness, a chaotic semester. You don't need a year of tutoring. You need eight to twelve focused sessions to close a specific gap. We design exactly that.

Lisa holds a current Florida Level 2 background check and taught in Florida schools for 22 years. Every session is one-on-one in Abide Live, our own classroom, parents are welcome to sit in anytime, and live video is never recorded.
After each session you get a written recap by email: what your child worked on, what to celebrate, and what to practice next. And if the first session is not a good fit, it is free.
Many of our students learn differently. If your child has an IEP or 504 plan, dyslexia, ADHD, or just a hard history with a subject, tell us, and Lisa will meet them where they are. If your family needs another accommodation, bring it up on the free meet-the-teacher call and we will figure it out together.
