Who this is for

Homeschool families. Three common asks.

We work with homeschool families during the school day. You stay the primary teacher; we take the one or two subjects that have gotten harder as your children have grown.

01

One subject that has gotten hard

You are teaching everything else well, and one subject has started costing you your whole morning. We take that one subject weekly, follow your scope and sequence, and send a short recap so you stay in charge of the whole picture.

Most common ask

  • Multi-digit math, fractions, and decimals
  • Decoding and fluency past the early readers
  • Paragraph and essay writing
02

A steady weekly partner

Nothing is wrong. You simply want another certified teacher in your student's week, on the same day and time, working the material you have chosen. We keep the cadence and hand the progress back to you.

Most common ask

  • A standing weekly session in math or reading
  • A second voice on a writing plan
  • Science labs and vocabulary support
03

A specific gap to close

Something slipped. A move, a long illness, a chaotic semester. You do not need a year of tutoring. You need eight to twelve focused sessions to close one gap, and then to be done. We design exactly that.

Most common ask

  • Catch-up before a new curriculum level
  • Summer maintenance, no regression
  • Readiness before you start the fall term

Safety and trust

You are welcome in the room, always.

Lisa is a certified Florida teacher with an active teaching certificate, a current Florida Level 2 background check, and 22 years in Florida classrooms. Every session is one-on-one in Abide Live, our own classroom, parents are welcome to sit in anytime, and live video is never recorded.

After each session you get a written recap by email: what your child worked on, what to celebrate, and what to practice next. And if the first session is not a good fit, it is free.

Many of our students learn differently. If your child has an IEP or 504 plan, dyslexia, ADHD, or just a hard history with a subject, tell us, and Lisa will meet them where they are. If your family needs another accommodation, bring it up on the free meet-the-teacher call and we will figure it out together.
